Did you know that this
can mean "no.?"



That's right. A lot of times
we respond negatively by
saying that's ok. What we
are saying is "no thank you, that is ok."



"That's ok, I don't want any mustard."

"That's ok, I will go by myself."

This is easy to misunderstand
because it sounds like we
are saying that we would like
to have it.


The guy at Chipotle, today, didn't
understand this. He said Guacamole
is an extra $2.50. I said that's ok, but
I got a big glob of guacamole, anyway.
