This is a great adjective, but
one that is often confusing
for Japanese people!!
Why is that??
Because they hear and
say the word like "brand."
"Bland,"
means no taste!!
"This food is kind of bland."
"Thai food is not bland!"
"Japanese food can seem bland
to Americans who are used to
food with stronger flavor."
You will never hear an American
say that this food has too much flavor!!!
