Cover Up

This means to hide something!!

034.gifThink about the physical meaning first...

Cover Up_f0212156_13471966.jpg
A dog hides a bone in the ground.
He covers it up!!

Note: When I change the object
from the noun "bone" to "it," I move
the object in between the verb and
the preposition!!

Sounds hard...but, it's not!!

"The dog covered up the bone."

"The dog covered it up."
